Your questions, answered

Everything properties usually ask us before getting started with Mirai Go: set-up, integrations, pricing and support.

About Mirai Go

  • Why choose Mirai Go and what sets us apart?

Helping accommodation providers grow their direct bookings since 1995. Mirai Go is not just software. It combines proven direct booking technology with the close, expert support of our team.

  • My property is small or family-run. Is Mirai Go right for me?

Yes, it is designed exactly for you. Mirai Go is built for independent hotels, guesthouses, rural accommodation and apartments that have no marketing or IT department. It gives you access to direct booking technology and online visibility through a simple system adapted to your scale.

  • What happens if I already have a website or a booking engine?

We help make the transition as smooth as possible, minimising disruption to your direct bookings. You retain ownership of your domain name. We help replace or integrate the new booking engine around your existing operations.

Set-up

  • I have no time or technical knowledge. What does the set-up process look like?

An easy, guided process (Do it with you) where you won’t be on your own. For the website you only need to choose the template that best suits your business and send us your photos. For the booking engine, we run 2 sessions of 30 minutes to teach you how to manage your extranet quickly. And if you would rather delegate the advanced configuration, there is the Smart Onboarding service: one-to-one support where a specialist teaches you how to create your rates, audits the connections with your Channel Manager and helps you feel confident managing your direct booking channel independently.

  • How long does it take to get my website and booking engine ready to take bookings?

The setup process typically takes around four weeks, depending on the materials and information provided:

    1. Week 1: You choose your template and send us the basic material (photos, logo and legal texts).
    2. Weeks 2 and 3: We build your website, configure your booking engine and prepare the translations.
    3. Week 4: Final review together, technical checks and website launch.
  • Do I need to know programming to change prices or publish offers on the website?

No, you can do it yourself without depending on any IT person. We teach you how to use the tool from day one so you have total autonomy. Your website and your engine are 100% intuitive: updating photos, changing prices, creating promo codes or launching an offer takes just a couple of minutes.

Integrations

  • Do I have to change my current property management system (PMS) or Channel Manager?

Not at all. You can keep using your existing systems. We support integrations with a wide range of channel managers and PMS providers, helping keep rates and availability in sync and reduce the risk of overbooking.

Not sure whether your system is compatible? Get in touch and we’ll check it for you.

  • What happens if I decide to change my PMS or Channel Manager in the future?

We help keep the transition running smoothly. If you decide to change your internal management software, our team will help you reconnect with the new tool to help keep your bookings and availability running smoothly during the transition.

Pricing and commissions

  • How much does set-up cost, and what commissions or lock-in periods are there?

Our pricing is designed to be clear from the outset. We’ll explain any initial setup costs, the commission on net revenue from completed stays and the agreed monthly minimum. There is no long-term commitment.

  • What happens if a booking is cancelled or the guest doesn’t show up (no-show)?

Commission is based on completed stays, subject to the agreed monthly minimum. If a booking is cancelled within the deadline or the guest doesn’t show up, no commission is charged on that booking.

  • How are payments for direct bookings handled?

We connect your booking engine using compatible payment solutions designed to support applicable security requirements, including PSD2 and PCI DSS where relevant, so you can take payment in advance or validate cards according to your configuration.

Acquisition and sales

  • Is there any guarantee that I will actually get more direct bookings?

We give you tools to help you attract more direct bookings, although the final result depends on your overall commercial strategy. These include a mobile-friendly website, a booking engine and visibility through Google Free Booking Links. A competitive strategy, good photography, flexible conditions and a strong reputation can all support your direct booking growth.

  • How does Mirai Go help my hotel appear on Google without paying extra commissions?

We connect your property to Google Free Booking Links. This lets your official website’s rate appear in Google’s free booking links alongside other booking options when travellers search for your property.

Support

  • If I have a question or a problem in my day-to-day operations, who do I turn to?
